The Sectyd are an aggressive sapient race indigenous to the planet iXuvila that have aligned themselves with the Scourge, though a large number of Sectyds once served the Amphorian Empire as slaves, as well as the NodhCohr Hierarchy as slave still when the Technarians and Amphorians joined forces to enslave other races beyond Kesari.
Sectyds prefer to pick off foes from a distance during war to better avoid harm to themselves. Sectyds can cling to surfaces such as wall and ceilings and can fly short distances.
Unlike most races, Sectyds hold their guns not in their hands, but in an open cavity on their head. Because of this, Sectyds can't pick up other races' weapons, since they need weapons built specifically to fit into this cavity. This trait does however makes it nearly impossible for a race to disarm a Sectyd, though it takes them some time to switch between weapons, especially during firefights.
