The Motik are a cyborg species who possess very little of their original form anymore, due to them having replaced everything with machinery to aid in their powerful work ethic. Even their young are created this way, as they are incubated in machine vats which replace purposefully prevent typical body parts from forming, instead replacing everything with cybernetic enhancements.

Trivia

• "Motikity" is the equivalent of the word "humanity".
• The name "Motik" was chosen out of a pile of unused conceptual names for aliens saved into a document for use when I cannot think of a name. While I could have thought of one for this race (Kann was being tossed around initially), I chose to use one of those names to give them a form.
• Motik are intended to look somewhat like tin cans.
• The Motik were the first robotic race created by Somarinoa in Spore, being created on May 6^th, 2011 at 9:11pm AST.
