The Landlords are a race of sapient bipeds who have a religion of sorts based upon the acquisition of land. This has led to them considering all land in the entire universe as theirs by default, as they see through their eyes and no other's, and therefore it is like they believe that they are the only real race, and all others are "background characters". They will insist that species hand over their homeworlds and colonies to the Landlords in a relatively nonchalant manner and when they refuse they will get more and more pushy and bossy about the matter, which generally leads to war as the races attempt to keep their worlds. One of their biggest enemies are the Snapdragons, which are on their own quest to acquiesce as many worlds as possible after the Ciitarkians destroyed their homeworld as part of an experiment.

Sporepedia Descriptions[]

Landlord[]

"The Landlords are a sapient race who have somehow gotten it into their heads that they by right own all land in the entire universe; their frightening look sometimes gets them their way."

Landlord Homesteader[]

"The Landlords initially were a semi-nomadic people, staking claim over wherever they lived at any given point. It would be centuries before they realized their faces were scarier than their masks."

Landlord Deedmaster[]

"The Landlords eventually came to take the phrase "king of his castle" literally, and every Landlord thought they owned every piece of land. Deed Wars were fought often, and savvy Landlords kept quill pens on them at all times for deed signing."
