The Einjel are an ancient race from planet Haven, which resemble the "Grey" alien stereotype of human ufology (specifically, the Tall Greys), although they do possess numerous unique characteristics to set them apart from the mythology. In fact, the Einjel have interacted with mankind by secretly uplifting them throughout their development, along with other Ancients races such as the Voiasenso.

When the Voiasenso could no longer stand by and watch as thousands of races vanished and/or killed off by an unknown dimensional foe(s), they formed the UFCL to secretly ready races for the coming war, as well as promoting democracy as an added bonus. The Einjel were one of the races contacted into joining the UFCL, and they quickly joined the growing alliance.

The Einjel are closely allied to the Enjelics to such a degree, that the Einjel even share their own homeworld with the Enjelic, since they no longer have a world of their own. However, this is entirely of the Einjel's doing, having removed the Enjelic ancestors from their homeworld, performed genetic manipulation on them and transformed them into essentially their own servant species, although the Enjelic seem proud to serve.

Einjel have a large influence in the UFCL, along with Kyisziqan, Norjji and the Zolacians. They are also closely related to the Compilers and Viiska, with the three races believed to have descended from the same original stock, only having partitioned their genetics during their long period in space.
