“Chiclechu are strange, poisonous insectoids who originate from an unknown region of space. While it is not certain how they got off their homeworld (perhaps due to Permitted intervention?), they are now considered deadly pests on many worlds.” |
—Vacotor Database, Terran translation |
Chiclechus are a species of interstellar pests that have become prolific throughout the galaxy at large due to inadvertantly becoming stowaways on various stellar vessels. Their homeworld has yet to be pinpointed, which is considered unfortunate as they are actually incredibly poisonous.
Trivia[]
- Chiclechu originated as the generalized name that Somarinoa would use as a kid as the name for various grasshoppers he would catch. It later extended to be slang he used as a replacement for the words "insect" or "bug"—all insects became known as "Chiclechus", just for the sake of doing it.
- The name was cemented as its own species when it was used as the name for an extremely tiny character form Somarinoa created in Graffiti Kingdom for the PS2. It fired bursts of dark and poison, and was the form he used to defeat the game's final boss as it could stay in the air almost indefinitely and was difficult to hit due to its size.
